Dear Families,

It has been an exciting and wonderful first week. I am going to try to send the official "Dolphin Digest" every other week, but I wanted to share some short updates here. Please look out for the Dolphin Digest next week, but enjoy our back-to-school video below from our Dolphin family to yours in the meantime. Attendance Incentives

A major part of our Dolphin vision (Everyone Belongs) this year will be improving attendance. Did you know that more than 20% of students missed more than 10% of school last year? We have a lot of room for growth, and we will be incentivizing good attendance in a few ways:

  • Any grade level that hits 95% attendance in a given week will earn a fish in Devon's fishbowl for that grade level and work toward a grade-level celebration.

  • Starting in September, we will have a random "secret attendance day." During September, our secret attendance day will be hosted by the JESSE WHITE TUMBLERS! Read more about the Jesse White Tumblers here, and be sure to have students come every day they can in September so you are here when the Tumblers surprise us.
